The Power of Z
The film explores the unique origin story of Generation Z, born between 1997 and 2012, who have faced significant challenges such as 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, the 2008 recession, the Sandy Hook tragedy, the Covid pandemic, the George Floyd protests, and the overturning of Roe v. Wade. By highlighting how these critical events have shaped this diverse and progressive generation, I was proud to help capture their voices and experiences, ensuring a cohesive execution through effective talent booking and coordination.
Every Body
As the archive producer for the Emmy nominated film "Every Body," I played a vital role in curating archival footage that enhanced this poignant documentary. The film tells the stories of three intersex individuals—River Gallo, Alicia Roth Weigel, and Sean Saifa Wall—who overcame childhoods marked by shame and non-consensual surgeries to become advocates for the intersex community. With exclusive footage from NBC News archives, the film sheds light on the medical abuse faced by intersex people and supports a growing movement for greater understanding and the end of unnecessary surgeries. My work in sourcing and integrating this material helped create a compelling narrative that brings attention to this important issue.

Produced and directed by me, we focus on the early voting site at the University of Minnesota's Weisman Art Center, made possible by a new law allowing temporary polling places on campus. Highlighting the efforts of the "Row the Vote" campaign, we showcase how organizers educated students on registration and voting, resulting in 12,000 students pledging to vote and 2,000 registering. This video emphasizes the significance of student engagement in the electoral process.
